日本はこの２０年間、イナカの漁師町に長大橋や水族館や高速道路を造ったりして巨額のお金を地方にばらまいたが、それが日本全体の民間投資を抑制し経済成長には逆効果でしかなかった、オバマは同じ過ちをしてはいけないという報告。

日本経済が長期衰退に入ってしまったのは、この種のバラマキ財政のためであることは実証されている。それなのにいまだにバラマキを要求する族議員ばかりが「腕力」をふるっている。族議員たちは、自分たちのおかげで日本が「ダメの見本」みたいな紹介方をされるようになって、恥ずかしくないのか！

最近は族議員たちもさすがに道路建設を主張するのは気が引けるのか、今度は「環境」とか「食料自給」とか「地域活性化」とか言いだしている。これは形を変えた新たなバラマキ要求に他ならない。
